WHAT WE DO

The Peace Leadership Collaborative bridges academic theory and research with grassroots knowledge, lived experience, and practice.

Bridge Theory & Practice

The Collaborative serves as a global hub for the interrelationship between peace leadership theory and practice. The Collaborative offers researchers support and connections to inform their scholarship, which in turn provides deepened theory, tools, and insights to inform the work of peace leaders in communities. By fostering innovative opportunities between practitioners and scholars through a virtual platform, we equip peace leaders with the resources they need while nurturing an ongoing learning and advancement of peace leadership.

Promote understanding & practice

The Collaborative enables learners to grow their knowledge through education, training, and development. We offer virtual peace leadership training with practitioners and facilitators across sectors, in-person travel opportunities for practice-based exploration of peace leadership in context, and a virtual open source platform for peace leaders to share materials, toolkits, and more. The Collaborative provides space for organizations and members to share their own opportunities and offerings, expanding inclusive access to open source learning for peace leaders worldwide.

Share stories of peace leadership

The Collaborative captures and broadcasts peace leader stories worldwide. Through multimedia approaches, including a podcast, video interviews, and long-form narrative stories, the Collaborative actively documents stories of peace leadership in action by everyday peace leaders to inspire local to global practice.
